Annual Inspection Visit to Euro Space Center
STEM Teachers had an absolute BLAST on our annual inspection visit to Euro Space Center in January 2025. And this time we took two very special guests with us!
-
The inspection visit provides teachers, who will be taking their pupils back in the future, a chance to trial what the students will be doing on their residential school trips to Euro Space Center in Belgium.
The 3-day inspection visit allows teachers and educational visit coordinators to sample the multi-axis chair and the Free Fall Slide as well as experiencing a simulation of walking on the Moon or Mars. The highlight of the weekend though is always experiencing those 3g forces on the Rotor.
The group all stayed at the on-site accommodation and enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Space themed restaurant, the Voyager Café.
For the evening activity the group enjoyed a guided tour of the nearby Caves of Han, exploring underground rivers and learning all about stalagmites and stalactites.
Our two very special guests on this weekend were Harry Rogers, acting Editor of the School Travel Magazine, and our very own award-winning Teacher Ted.
“I just wanted to say a massive thanks for inviting us on the inspection visit to the Euro Space Center. We had a great time and met so many likeminded people. We will be back in touch in due course with regards to hopefully booking a trip there in 2026.“
