Black Forest and Strasbourg
A school music tour of the Black Forest and Strasbourg offers the chance to tour 2 different countries, both offering a range of performance venues and a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural enrichment.
With the backing of the local Tourist offices, performances in The Black Forest and Strasbourg are well attended and supported by locals and tourists in centrally located squares.
The Black Forest region provides opportunities for visiting Germany’s highest waterfall at Trier, enjoying a panoramic view from the Schauinsland Cable Car and enjoying a day at Europa Park, Germany’s largest Theme Park, perfect for an enrichment or activities week trip.
Strasbourg, on the French side of the border, features the European Parliament, a stunning cathedral, and the charming La Petite France district with its canals. Enjoy a scenic boat tour of the city and make sure to include a chocolate making workshop at the chocolate museum.
A third performance venue can be provided or why not consider touring 3 countries by adding on a day in Switzerland!
