Set in a beautiful wooded landscape with three connected mountains, Stoneham has slopes for all abilities, making it ideal for school ski groups. Known for hosting the Snowboarding FIS World Championships since 2007, it’s a resort with real pedigree.
Every school group enjoys a night skiing lesson on the floodlit slopes, creating a magical and unforgettable experience. Trips finish with a stop at nearby outlets for shopping before your flight home, rounding off an incredible Canadian adventure.
Resort facts
Stoneham’s high-speed chair lift network, including the longest lift over 1500 metres, provides quick and easy access to the entire three-mountain domain. The resort’s wooded slopes cater to all abilities, making it perfect for school groups.
The purpose-built layout ensures easy group management, with all skiing starting and ending at the base lodge, which houses ski hire, storage, shops, a cafeteria, and other essential services. Beginners have direct access to gentle slopes and the magic carpet, while more advanced skiers can explore the mountains via the chair lifts.
A highly regarded in-resort ski school ensures students progress safely while having fun, making every lesson both productive and enjoyable.

Valcartier Resort
Home to North America’s only Ice Hotel, Valcartier takes the school ski experience to an entirely new level!
Your group will stay at the 4-star Valcartier Resort Hotel, located just opposite the Ice Hotel, where evening meals are also served. Students are accommodated in comfortable en-suite rooms sleeping 4-6, with fantastic on-site facilities including restaurants, cafés, shops, games arcades, and meeting spaces.
Evening meals are served in the hotel’s restaurant and include fun themed nights such as pizza night and Mexican night.
During your stay, enjoy a morning of snow tubing on the resort’s incredible tubing runs (on the same day as night skiing) and an evening at the spectacular indoor water park - both included in your programme. Additional evenings feature a full schedule of on-site group entertainment and activities.

Your school group will receive a warm welcome and great service at the Hotel Stoneham, ideally located right on the slopes beside the base lodge — meaning you can ski straight from your door each morning. Comfortable rooms sleep 4–6 students, all with en-suite facilities, and the hotel features a relaxed bar and restaurant, plus meeting space for group use.
An included après ski programme keeps the fun going every evening, with activities such as night skiing, games night, quiz or bingo evening, presentation and party night, plus outlet shopping on your final day.
