  Euro Space is a unique European educational centre in Belgium, just a 3-hour drive from the port of Dunkirk. It is dedicated to space travel and learning about the galaxies and planets. This fascinating complex consists of training courses, workshops and numerous exhibitions, where participants can experience an array of interactive and visual displays.

  Our exclusive residential STEM Discovery tour includes on-site full-board accommodation at Euro Space Centre, as well as 7 hours of activities, simulations and workshops each day.

  All educational activities are within the centre making this the perfect residential STEM experience.

  The simulators provide in-depth astronaut training with each student stepping into the shoes of a space scientist for a 2-hour simulation of a mission on board the US Space Shuttle.

  Students will learn how astronauts train for space travel by taking a turn on a multi-axis chair, zero gravity wall, rotating chair as well as simulating walking on the Moon or Mars.

  And finally, students will have the opportunity to build and launch their very own space rocket. This workshop allows students to learn about the principles that govern the flight of a rocket, the basics of propulsion theory and of the stability of rockets in flight.

Suggested Itinerary

This unique itinerary includes 7 hours of activities, simulations and workshops each day. 3-day tours are available Monday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Friday and Friday-Sunday. A 4-day itinerary is available from Friday to Monday. 5-day tours are available Monday to Friday.

This exclusive residential STEM Discovery tour includes on-site accommodation at Euro Space Center.

• Euro Space Center

  Each of the 24 rooms have 10 beds and are located on three floors (Earth, Mars and Sky). Each room has a private well-equipped bathroom (two showers, two sinks and toilets).

  The site also boasts 2 restaurants (where all meals are taken), a souvenir shop, cinema, numerous classrooms and ample outside space for evening activities. Student friendly meals are provided in the on-site Voyager restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
