Rome
Step back in time on your Italian school trip to Rome! Rome is a fascinating destination for a language and cultural trip destination. Its centre is sufficiently compact to accommodate walking tours while its simple metro system also allows easy access to the superb range of museums, monuments and tourist attractions.
Much of the Italian culture stems from its Roman roots and so where better than the capital for an Italian school trip? Your students will love immersing themselves in the vibrant Italian culture while seeing some of the most famous ancient sights in the world, including the Colosseum.
You can sample plenty of the delicious cuisine and make sure you spend some time exploring Vatican City, the state within the city, and home to some of the most iconic works of art in the world.
Curriculum Links
You could also choose to turn this into a cross-curricular trip by teaming up with your school's art, classical studies or religious studies department!
