    London has played an ever-present role in the world’s history! On a school History trip to London, your group can cover a large range of themes from the Tudors and the Stuarts, Medicine in Britain, London in the Blitz, Crime and Punishment and Migration to Britain – all in one trip!

    Educational sessions and workshops are available as well as guided tours to ensure that the History students maximise their learning. Just do not forget to allow some time for a West End Show and some serious sightseeing and shopping to round it all off!

    YHA London Thameside is a purpose-built hostel situated just a stone’s throw from the banks of the Thames.

    The hostel is well-equipped with 70 en-suite rooms for school groups, an on-site restaurant serving breakfast and evening meals, wi-fi access and nearby coach parking.

  • Royal National Hotel

    Located on the edge of Russell Square and within walking distance from Covent Garden and Leicester Square, this large hotel is close to the underground and provides an excellent base for exploring London.

    Students are normally accommodated in rooms for 2-3 beds with teachers in twin rooms.
