Krakow
Words cannot describe the scale of horror that the Jewish population of Europe experienced at the hands of the Nazi regime. A school history trip to Krakow and Auschwitz is essential to understanding 20th Century History as well as the darker side of human nature.
Students will be provided with a guided tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau, chosen by the SS for the extermination of 1.1 million people between 1940-45 as the Nazi’s Final Solution reached its terrible conclusion.
Your group will develop their understanding of what life was like living under Nazi occupation as well as the Holocaust.
Curriculum Links
A school history trip to Krakow is an essential experience for students studying the Rise of National Socialism, Life under the Nazis and Opposition to Nazi rule. It is also very relevant to students studying Ethics, religious discrimination and persecution.
