    Rome

On our classical studies school trip to Rome, your students will step back in time and experience the feeling of centuries of turbulent history under their very feet. Trace the rise and fall of Republic and Empire through the public and private lives of the inhabitants.

Your group will visit the very centre of political, commercial, and judicial life in ancient Rome at the Roman Forum and explore the open-air museum that is Palatine Hill, where Roman mythology suggests Romulus and Remus were found.

Learn more about Imperial patronage at sites such as the Colosseum and the Pantheon and visit the ancient port of Rome at Ostia, now home to many artefacts of “blue-collar” working life in Roman times.
