In this “adventure of a lifetime,” Visions partners with a local South African company dedicated to research, training and conservation to protect the beauty that is Africa. Meaningful Travels Abroad is a private Family owned organization established in 1997. Urshula du Plooy was involved one way or another in the Family business since its inception and in 2009 took over the Family business – and has grown MTA in every aspect of the word. Urshula du Plooy was born in South Africa and has travelled Africa extensively since a young child on Tours with clients.

Urshula guided her first Adventure into Africa at the age of 17 years and has not looked back from this moment on. “We pride ourselves in our care and love for young people. Our expeditions are geared to make a real difference wherever we go, to leave a little bit of ourselves, and to help those less fortunate.”
