Cornwall
The coastal landscape of Cornwall provides an excellent opportunity to immerse geography students in a truly breath-taking outdoor classroom and is ideal for geography & geology field trips of all levels.
Whether your focus is physical or human geography, erosion or travel and tourism, Cornwall provides the perfect location for students on a Geography field trip, without the need for a passport or EHIC Card.
Study the impact of tourism on St Ives, explore the coastal management systems in Marazion whilst visiting St Michael's Mount and take part in an educational workshop at the Eden Project.
Curriculum Links
Educational workshops at the Eden Project are available in Rainforest Ecology and Adaptation, Rural Rebranding, or Biodiversity under threat. Your students can even carry out an investigation at the Eden Project which fulfils the criteria for one of the compulsory fieldwork days required to complete the new AQA GCSE Geography specification.
