    Venice is an artistic treasure trove, overflowing with cultural and architectural marvels. Your school group can also discover the wonderful collections of world-renowned artists and visit world famous attractions such as St Mark’s Basilica, Rialto Bridge and the Piazza San Marco. 

    During your art school tour to Venice, your pupils will see traditional works of art, stunning Venetian architecture, and will leave inspired by the range of educational visits on offer.

    The Correr Museum is an exciting place to start to discover the art and the history of Venice. Students can then take part in a practical workshop making Carnival masks. Your group will then have the opportunity to see works by Venice's grand masters at the Guggenheim Collection or the International Gallery of Modern Art whilst artistic riches of the Venetian school can be found at the Galleria dell Accademia.

Accommodation on the island of Venice is always at a premium so the nearby areas of Mestre and Lido di Jesolo are excellent options for school groups.

  • A&O Mestre

    The A&O hostel is located in the centre of the Mestre district in Venice. You can expect modern furnished rooms with high comfort for a low price. The rooms all have their own bathroom with shower and toilet. In the lobby, you can relax at the bar or in the comfortable lounge area, making new plans after an exhausting day. There is also a 24/7 reception and free wi-fi throughout the building. The connection from Mestre to the island of Venice is via a bridge that can be crossed by bus, and train. 

  • Hotel Serenella

    The Hotel Serenella is in the centre of Jesolo Lido and has undergone a major renovation both in the public areas and in the furnishings of all the bedrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, LCD TV, wi-fi, telephone, safe and individually controlled air conditioning and heating. Facilities include 24h reception, free wifi, on-site restaurant.
