  Netball is played both outdoor and indoor and many sides have established Malta as one of their favourite touring destinations. The local leagues run between October and May and this is the best time for Netball touring sides to visit. Another advantage to tour in this period is that it coincides with the low / medium season for tourists on the islands so more competitive prices may be secured with hotels

  Football is a major sport in Malta played by all ages both by males and females. There are many clubs and a variety of levels. There are many stadiums and pitches offering both grass and astro turf (3G) which make Malta an all-year-round football training camp destination. Schools choose Malta for their football training camps and the level of local clubs tallies very well with visiting school teams.

  Malta has a small rugby community with 5 local clubs. Each year they host many clubs from the UK and other European countries.

  Malta also offers the possibility of a hockey tour. Field hockey in Malta is played on sand based astro turf. The optimal year round weather makes Malta a perfect destination for a short haul field hockey tour. The local teams offer great opposition and good hospitality.

Fixtures and training

The tour includes facility hire and transfers for 1 self-coached training fixture as well as 2 friendly fixtures against local opposition. Groups may combine sports and bring a football team alongside a netball team and so on.
